Welcome! I’m Sydney Hodson Leury, owner and operator of Sincerely, Sydney, and I believe in the power of words.

I’ve always loved books. That love led to a penchant for writing that I carried through my childhood and into the workforce. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies from Nipissing University and have spent my professional career editing my colleagues’ work, whether I was asked to do so or not. It usually goes over better when they ask.

I once joked to a co-worker that my goal in life is to rid the world of typos. I now use my skill and enthusiasm for good writing to help individuals and businesses achieve their own goals. Whether I do the writing or the editing for your written product, know that I take pride in making your words the best they can be.

When I’m not writing, reading, or stressing out over improperly used apostrophes, you can find me drinking hot beverages 365 days a year in the Ottawa Valley with my husband and children.
